"Winter's Fire" seemed like an appropriate name for this male Cardinal given his bright colours against the snow covered branches. I left this painting sitting for a while before I signed it, tweaking it a bit here and there until I finally felt the colours and contrast looked good. 9"x12" acrylic on canvas.
