Winter can be tough on all of us, people and wildlife as well, but it has a way of revealing its own kind of beauty. I’ve always loved how a light snowfall changes the world, adding depth and atmosphere so you can feel the cold and the light breeze without ever leaving home. In this painting, I wanted to recreate that moment of standing in winter’s quiet, snow on your face, surrounded by the calm only this season can bring.
