Watcher in the Woods - 16"x12" Original Framed

This is the time of year the Barred Owls in our area begin their mating season and with that one of the most beautiful sounds in nature, their call "Who cooks for you?" We will often hear the calls coming from two different directions as they reach out to each other. I never get tired of painting these beautiful and majestic birds. There's something about their warm colours and gentle piercing eyes that appeals to me and it's always a joy when we have one visiting in our backyard.
