Silent Observer - 20"x 16" Original Framed

Amherst Island attracts an abundance of Snowy Owls each winter due to it's relative seclusion and large population of mice & voles. Last year we came upon this Snowy that was off in the distance perched on this post with a beautiful blue/purplish background. I didn't know if I would be able to get a good reference photo as the Owl was partiall facing away, watching for prey amongst the grasses, but as I approached quitely, she spun her head around with laser precision and looked at me as if to say, "do you mind?"
