Cold Comfort - 11"x14" - Sold-

Mourning Doves seem perfectly at ease as they nestle on a snow-covered branch in winter. Their fluffed-up feathers, which help them stay warm, often remind me of the down-filled winter coats people wear. In this painting, I aimed to capture the chilly winter scene with its deep shadows in the snow, contrasted by the warm brown tones of the Mourning Doves.
