Broad-Winged Hawk 14"x11" - SOLD

This Broad-winged Hawk is based on a reference photo my wife Judy took of one that visits our area frequently. I enjoy hearing the high-pitched whistle cry that they make when I'm outside and I'll sometimes try to call back. I'm not sure if I'm doing a good job emulating his cry or whether he's up there thinking to himself, who's that crazy fool making weird noises down there. Anyway, I hope you like the painting. Given that I'm on speaking terms with this bird, I certainly enjoyed painting him.
