What I find interesting about the Cedar Waxwing is their smooth and sleek feathering over their body. Normally you can distinguish feather groups on many birds species but the Cedar Waxwing has a silky smooth look accented with a small crest and small distinct splashes of red and yellow that make it easily distinguishable from most other song birds.
